signed

signed(n)
The parameter n is a value of an unsigned integer type. The operator reinterprets the binary pattern of the parameter as if it were a signed number represented as two’s complement. For signed numbers, the operator returns always the identical value. The correspondence between unsigned type of the parameter and the signed type of the result is following: ByteInt8, WordInt16, DwordInt (Int32), QwordInt64.
Examples:
signed([Byte]255) = –1
signed([Byte]100) = 100
