x shl n
The operator performs bit shift up (to the left, to the higher-order bits). The parameter x is the value to be shifted. It is of an integer type (Int, Int8, Int16, Int64, Byte, Word, Dword, Qword). The parameter n specifies the number of bit positions to shift the value x. The left bit shift is equivalent to multiplication of n-th power of two. That is: x shl n = x * 2n.
The result type is the same as the type of the parameter x.
