• Reference Guide

The parameter f is a variable of the type File. The file must be open for reading. The function reads one line at the current file pointer and returns it as a String. The file pointer is then set to the beginning of the next line. The function expects that the line is terminated either by a LF character (code 10), a CR character (code 13), a CR LF pair, or the end of file. The line terminating characters are not included in the result.
If an error occurs or there are no more lines in the file, an Error value is returned.
Note: The is_end function can be used to detect the file end.
