Value Multiplication

x *= value
The operator multiplies the value in the variable or data item x with the value parameter. The variable must be of one of the types: Int, Int8, Int16, Int64, Byte, Word, Dword, Qword, Real.
If the result of the integer multiplication exceeds the maximum value of the type, an overflow occurs, which is not an error. The real number overflow is an error.
The result is an l-value referring to the variable being assigned.
The operator is an abbreviation for x = x * value.
