exp

exp(x)
exp(base, x)
The first variant of the function computes ex, where e is the Euler number (the base of natural logarithms, 2.718281…). The latter variant, in which the base of the exponential function can be specified, computes basex. Both the parameters and the return values are Real numbers.
If the expression is undefined or an overflow occurs, an error is returned.
