Occasionally, it is needed to write a note in the expression, mostly to explain a complicated construct. A comment serves this purpose. The text of a comment is intended to be read by a human, the Enki language compiler ignores is altogether.
There are two sorts of comments in Enki:
♦ Two slashes // mark all the text until the end of the line as a comment.
♦ A comment started with symbols /* which is explicitly terminated with */.
Example 1:
x = 0; // a comment terminated with the end of line
Example 2:
/* a shor comment */ x = 0; /* a comment
spanning several
lines */ y = 0;
