break Statement

break value
break <ctl_var>
break <ctl_var> value
The break statement terminates the while or for cycle in which it is contained. If the ctl_var parameter is specified, it denotes the name of the control variable of the cycle that is to be terminated (all possible nested cycles will be terminated, too). If no name of a control variable is specified, the innermost cycle is terminated. The name of a control variable is enclosed in braces (the less-than and greater-than signs). Note that the value parameter is not separated by a comma.
If the value parameter is specified, it determines the value returned by the terminated cycle (as all Enki language constructs return a value). If no value is specified, the initial value of the type normally returned by the cycle is returned.
